Thiam Lay Fong
Lay Fong founded Advent Resource Consultancy in 2000 to pursue her dream of providing HR consultancy services.
For over 20 years, Lay Fong worked at a number of corporate MNCs engaged in engineering and manufacturing sectors. Her experience extends from local roles to regional and overseas country office management, having overseen operations, sales and marketing of local MNCs in Chengdu and Guangzhou, China.
Lay Fong specialises in the recruitment of technical and IT positions and has run payroll for operations located in Singapore and Malaysia.
Dorothy joined Advent Resource Consultancy in 2004, bringing with her more than two decades of experience as an HR professional. She served a number of MNCs in food & beverage, pharmaceutical, electronics, transportation and shipping, including holding two consecutive director-level positions with regional and global HR responsibilities.
She specialises in compensation and benefits at local, regional and global levels, and excels in developing strategic solutions to critical organizational issues including regional and global assignment policies, executive compensation, merger & acquisitions, integration strategy, organisational development and change management.
